B&B's Person of The Week: Rihanna

Singer, fashion icon, actress, business woman and now mommy to be ! Our Bajan Queen woke up and chose motherhood. It's official, Rihanna and her partner Asap Rocky are expecting their first child together. Although the fans are still waiting on the album, Rihanna has been dropping gems over the years that we all can appreciate at this time. Let's start our timeline shall we?

2005: At 16 years old Rih Rih dropped her first record "Pon de Replay". Rihanna was discovered by record producer Evan Rogers and was signed to Def Jam records by the company's new CEO Jay Z.

2008: Rihanna won her first Grammy for record of the year "Umbrella".

2012: Rihanna began her acting career staring in the Hollywood block buster "Battleship" and won yet another Grammy for album of the year "Unapologetic".

2014: Rihanna was named the creative director of Puma and launched “Fenty X Puma”.

2017: Rihanna was awarded humanitarian of the year and launched the infamous cosmetic line "Fenty Beauty" .

2021: Rihanna officially became a Billionaire and was named Barbados' National Hero. Rih Rih what can't you do?

Talk about a 10 year plan! as revealed by Rihanna herself in a 2020 interview with British Vogue Magazine that within her 10 year plan she will have kids with or without a man. Rihanna is doing big things which has placed a major impact on black women and the African American/ Caribbean community as a whole. The fans can't wait to see whats next . Congrats Queen!
